Suns fans are among the most vocal and dedicated of any major sports team in any city, and their fandom can often outshout those of rival teams. Arena seating bowls are filled with Purple and Orange Suns fans wearing team colors during warmups; once game time begins they act as “sixth man”, making noise for each play while following along with Sun’s gorilla for cheerleading during each quarter of play.

Phoenix, the capital city of Arizona in southwestern United States, is well known for its year-round sunshine and pleasant temperatures. The sprawling metropolitan area teems with luxurious spa resorts, Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses and lively nightclubs. Other noteworthy highlights include Desert Botanical Garden which showcases cacti and native plants.

The Suns have made three trips to the NBA Finals but have yet to capture a championship. After suffering through an unsuccessful 2010-11 season, led by sharpshooter Devin Booker, they rebounded well during 2020-21, storming through Western Conference playoffs before narrowly falling short against Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals.

The Phoenix Suns are a professional basketball franchise competing in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Over their 53 season tenure in the league, they have always competed as part of the Western Conference.

Bradley Beal will return to action for the Suns this Friday against Charlotte Hornets after sitting out five games due to an ankle injury. It marks the first time since November 26th when all roster slots will have been filled up.

Injury-related absences of key starters DeMarcus Cousins and Jamal Murray has significantly hampered their team’s offense; yet the Suns remain undefeated at home while winning two consecutive games.

Footprint Center, home of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury in WNBA, underwent an impressive $245 million upgrade in 2019. Upgrades touched nearly every aspect of its structure – from adding more space at its entrance to improving concourse layout and widening walkways. An 8,500-square-foot LED board was also installed in its lobby which includes wall displays highlighting key players of both teams.

The Phoenix Suns are looking forward to an exciting chapter in their history. HOK-designed practice facility on Camelback Road near 44th Street will open for 2021-2022 season, providing state-of-the-art facility that will house both their training staff and development academy compared to current facility in Tempe of 20,000 sq feet which also has retractable roof for outdoor practice on nice days.
