Joker spends much of this episode grappling with this no-win situation before undertaking an ambitious heist attempt as his final act of resistance against Barlowe – something we will soon witness at its culmination!
This episode stands out as one of the rare instances when Batman and his crew don’t feature prominently, giving you ample room to focus on Joker’s own self-imposed downfall from grace (albeit temporary). It’s an exceptional episode which reminds us all that crime doesn’t pay (except in this instance it does!), villainy defeating itself with brutal irony… all while maintaining an entertaining sense of humor!
